Nestling in beautiful rolling countryside, Nesfield Cottage B&B is the perfect country getaway and is waiting to welcome you. On arrival, you'll find home-made Derbyshire Bun loaf is served with your cup of tea or coffee and Jane and Tom will be there to help with anything you want to know. Then later, after a delicious meal arranged for you at the pub nearby, (which offers a 10% discount to guests at Nesfield Cottage) imagine yourself sinking into our sumptuous super-king size beds, dreaming the night away under crisp, fresh, cotton sheets and waking refreshed in the morning ready for a mouth-watering full English breakfast! Savour the aromas of our special Indian coffee, delicious home-made bread and best quality crispy bacon all freshly prepared just for you.
Take time to relax as you linger over breakfast, watch the wildlife in the garden and plan your day. Footpaths from the door take you out into a wonderful natural landscape waiting to be explored. Escape for a breath of fresh air on a country ramble as you feel yourself unwind, or just stroll along the lane to watch the deer in the fields by the cottage.
Alternatively, beautiful Chatsworth House is a short drive away, as is Bolsover Castle, Renishaw Hall and Hardwick Hall. If you prefer the bright lights of the city, Sheffield, Meadowhall, Bakewell and Chesterfield (with its famous historic market) are all within easy reach. Whatever you decide, you can be sure of a friendly welcome when you return, warm towels, plenty of hot water and good local pubs in the village serving delicious evening meals.
