From the M1 motorway - Leave the M1 at junction 29, then at roundabout take the exit, signposted Chesterfield, onto the A617 (Hasland Bypass) At the roundabout at the end of the bypass, take the 2nd left turn towards the town centre. Take the right hand lane and continue up the hill at the next roundabout past the Crooked Spire. Stay in the right lane and go onto the huge Holywell Cross roundabout. Take the exit after the turn-off for the multi-storey (Newbold Road, B6051) Keep on this road for approx. 3 miles until open countryside is reached. The road then goes down the hill towards Barlow. At bottom of hill, in the trees, see the sign for the cottage and turn right down the lane. Our car park is at the end of the lane.
