If you prefer the bright lights of the city, Sheffield, Meadowhall, Bakewell and Chesterfield (with its famous historic market ) are all within easy reach. Whatever you decide, you can be sure of a friendly welcome when you return, warm towels, plenty of hot water and good local pubs in the village serving delicious evening meals.
